The Central CoastTriple M FM is a community radio station, which is situated in Gosford, NSW, Australia. It is famous with call sign 2GGO. The broadcasting areas include the region of NSW Central Coast (from Southern Lake Macquarie to Hawkesbury River). The station on-airs programs on Active Rock format. Triple M FM broadcasted its first show on 19th November 1971 with call sign 2GO. It was famously known as the first radio station, broadcasting on AM band in the history of Central Coast. Initially, it started with the frequency of 1310. But, soon it switched to 1323 kHz AM in 1978. Then, in 1986, 801 was allocated a location on FM band frequency. But finally, the authorities switched it into current frequency, in 1991. Previous ownerships of this station belong to WESGO group, which sold 2GO to the current owner in November 2019. Southern Cross Austereo re-branded it as Triple M, while 2GGO became the call sign.
