ABC Classic FM commenced its first show on 24th January 1976. Initially, it possessed the call sign of ABC-FM. However, after some time, the authorities decided to change the call sign to ABC (Fine Music). Thus, in 1994, the audiences started identifying this station as ABC Classic FM. But on 24th November 2018, the authorities announced to change its call sign into the current one.
