106.7 Rock started operating at 1100 AM. Its frequency changed in 1928, 1942, and 1960. In 1926 it had CJOC as call letters. In January 2000, CJOC changed its call letters. New call letters for this channel were CJRX. Initially, it broadcasted in a country music format. Later on, in 2000, CJRX changed its format to rock music. Previously this channel was branding as rock 106. In 2016 this radio station slightly changed its brand name. CJRX rebranded as 106.7 ROCK. This radio station had different slogans in history. In 1951, its slogan was serving southern Alberta. In 1952, its slogan changed to CJOC covers the wealthiest area in Canada – Lethbridge.
