CFQX FM is a country music broadcasting radio station providing services from Selkirk, Manitoba, Canada. The station began its transmission in November 1981 as an easy listening channel on 92.9 FM. In 1986, FM changed to the country format. It received approval to move from 92.9 FM to 104.1 FM in 1987. In 1997, the station was granted a license amendment to move from 104.1 FM to 95.3 FM but never implemented this move. The owner of the station is Jim Pattison Broadcast Group. It is branded as “QX 104.” It is a class C station with 100,000 watts of power. The station broadcast entertaining, fun, and energetic programs as well as news, information, and Top 40 Country music. Its tagline is “Today’s Country.” The listeners catch the station’s live transmission on its official website.
