O Abitibi (CJGO FM) is a radio station broadcasting 102.1 FM in La Sarre, Quebec, Canada. The station, owned and run by Arsenal Media, broadcasts an active rock format known as Capitale Rock. Rouyn-CHGO-FM-1, Noranda’s 95.7 FM, is another radio station that broadcasts CJGO. Until August 2010, when FM switched to CJGO, the repeater carried CHGO FM, a sister station in Val-d’Or. The station’s actual studios are in Rouyn-Noranda. Even though FM is licensed to La Sarre, the Rouyn-Noranda transmitter is legally a rebroadcaster.
The station, CKLS, was initially an AM station until switching to 102.1 FM in 1997. Its programming content is based on the best music, news, interviews, competition, career opportunities, and entertainment. It streams online on its official website worldwide.
