Ocean 100 FM

Ocean 100 FM is a broadcasting radio station on-air from Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada. The station broadcast at 100.3 MHz on the FM band. It airs classic hits format under the ownership of Stingray Group, which also owns sister station CKQK FM. Its studios and offices are at 176 Great George Street in Downtown Charlottetown. CHTN radio was established at 1190 AM on December 25, 1974. In 1987, it moved to 720 AM to the nighttime interference from WOWO, out of Fort Wayne, Indiana. The station official shifted to its current frequency and format on July 5, 2006, at 8:05 AM. FM is playing the first song, “Start Me Up,” by The Rolling Stones. Its transmission power is 33 kW on average and 88 kW peak Horizontal polarization only. It broadcasts community news, weather, traffic reports, entertainment, and music.
