Wai FM Iban is a broadcasting radio network that runs from two communities Bidayuh and Iban. The station airs several genres to catch the maximum listeners. These genres include Information, Talk, and Asian. It also provides Entertainment format to engage the audience. It broadcasts from Sibu, Sarawak, Malaysia. The channel consumes several frequencies 89.5 – 103 depending on its regions.
It broadcasts from Kuching, Sri Aman, Sarikei, Mukah, Bintulu, Limbang, Serian, Betong, Sibu, Kapit, Miri, Lawas. This channel uses local languages to broadcast. It also airs the programming in subdialects Biatah, Jagoi Odor, and Bukar Sadong. Program Scheduling:
Segment 1 broadcasts from 6.00 am to 9.00 am. Segment 2 broadcasts from 9 am to noon. And segment 3 starts from noon and continues till 3.00 pm. These segments play from Monday till Friday through local stations. On Saturday and Sunday, the other five stations join Kuching, Sri Aman, Sibu, Bintulu, and Miri.
On Wai FM Iban, from 6.00 am to 9.00 am, Morning Drivers goes in the air. LESSON 9–12 segment plays from 9 am to noon. Have a nice day is a noon segment that air from 12.00 pm to 3.00 pm. Flow Shifting starts at 3.00 pm and ends at 6.00 pm. Sada Lemai plays from 6.00 pm to 9.00 pm. Nightguard is midnight show that comes on the air at 9 pm until 12 am.
