The station has increased its ERP from 3,000 to 3,800 Watts and antenna height from 100 feet to 417 feet high above average terrain. To date, the station has evolved under the ownership of three dynamic owners, including John E. Shipp Jr., Hugh L. Ellington., and WKNU Radio Inc.
