History of KCBS All News:
In December 1921, the channel started its broadcasting as KQW. It has a certification of Charles Herrold. In 1930, James Hart purchased this station. It serves as the San Jose network that has the affiliation of the Don Lee Broadcasting System, from 1937 to 1941. In 1927, the Federal Radio Commission took charge of all U.S radio stations. In March 1941, these channels began to use new dial positions. Therefore KQW was also starting to move 740. Then it has affiliated with CBS that changed its call letters to KCBS in 1949. On February 2, 2017, CBS sold it to Entercom.
