History of WIVK FM 107.7:
WIVK-FM started its first transmission on December 16, 1965. It began working as a simulcast of WIVK/850. From the start, it adopted the country music format. A famous RJ, Claude served the station for several years as a host of a morning show.
When the AM station shifted to another format, adult contemporary, WIVK-FM missed the simulcast. The AM station became WHIG. The station started losing the listeners. So, the adult contemporary format no longer ran on WHIG. Soon, The WIVK simulcast again turned on 107.7. WIVK-FM 107.7 kept continuing using the country music format since it signed on the air in 1965.

Tony with his co-host Kris presents Mornings every weekday. The broadcasting of this American station starts with their show from 5:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The program consists of interviews, the best of country music, listener involvement as well as comedy. Nikki Thomas is a jack of all trades. She serves as both the Director of the Program and the host.
