Perak FM with 97.3 MHz is a broadcasting radio station based in Malaysia. It broadcasts from the area of Keledang, Malaysia. The broadcasting area is Raja Musa Mahadi Road, Ipoh. Its official slogan is ‘To Kome Aje (for you in Perak Malay)’. It began its first transmission in 1956, mid-twenties. RTM Radio Television Malaysia owns and manages the station. Its format touches both worlds: the world of Information and the world of Entertainment. The popular genre of the channel is World Music.
History of The Perak FM:
The transmission at Perak station started when the Ipoh Radio Station launched in 1956. In 1966, a complete and separate building constructed for Perak broadcasting. It started running programming from a new building with 50 members. This new building is based on Dairy Road. This building not only gives space to the office but also houses five other radio stations. Besides them, the building also has a 500-seat auditorium and workshops for engineers.
Segments of the Channel’s Programming:
Morning Gego segment broadcasts every Day from 6.00 am to 10.00 am. Kome Aje starts from 10 am till 2 pm. Another daily segment, Yop Yong, airs from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm. Moh Le segment plays from 5 pm to 9 pm. Listen to Perak FM broadcasts 18 hours a day from 6 am to 12 pm.

Ely Fazilah Hanafi, Saiful, Fitri, and Nana are famous DJs of the station. Harnani, Fahmi, Finas, Ros, Shaiful, and Airy are also a few of the dedicated DJs.
