Putra FM 90.7

Putra FM is a campus radio station in the ownership of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is the first IPTA radio channel that started its transmission in 1998. The station’s purpose is to provide academic programs in different four specializing, such as Broadcasting, Journalism, Corporate Communication, and Humanitarian Communication.

Currently, Streaming for this station is not available.

For support and promote these academic programs, UPM built laboratory facilities like photography laboratories, speech laboratories, and broadcasting laboratories. These laboratories are divided into two units, like the radio production unit and the video production unit. Now the radio production unit is upgraded as a campus radio station (Putra FM). The station on-airs transmission with the help of Radio Television Malaysia. The program’s content is based on educational, information, and entertainment programs.

Aim and Slogan:

The main aim of this station is academic programs. The campus and nearby community also gain benefits from this FM. It offers advantages in terms of the culture of knowledge, science, and technology, including communication and information technology. It works with the slogan of “Latest Campus Voices.” It airs its broadcasting on 90.7 MHz frequency on the FM band in the Malay language.

The station’s top-rated shows are Agro Sihat, Cit Cat PFM, Inspirasi Putra, Karya @ Putra, Menggapai Nur Illahi, What’s Up, Carta Hit 907, Techno & Sport, #20MuzikTerbaik, Double@Putra (BI), Layar Muzik, Hits 907 Chart, Non-Stop Music, Momo Cagherrr, and Al-Lughotul Arabiyah.

On-air Presenters:

The station’s famous and professional presenters are DJ Snake, Cardi B, Ozuno, Selena Gomez, Hasley, Zedd, Maron Morris, Grey, Dua Lipa, Black print, Alec Benjamin, Clean Bandit, Demi Lovato, Camila Cabello, and Adira Suhaimi.
