Radio Upatyaka is a community radio station situated in Khatmandu, Nepal. The Upatyaka meaning in literary Nepal is “Valley,” and according to its present placement, it means “Khtamndu Valley.” It established under the social organization Narayan Pariwar Club. Its programs based on health, education, entertainment, culture, technology, news, women, and children shows. It works with the slogan of “communication for the community.”
Radio Upatyaka on-airs its transmission on 87.6 MHz frequency in the Nepali language. The main objectives of the station promote the Nepalese culture and heritage, share authentic information, and to aware the general public regarding the current issues in the country.
