Channel Africa

Channel Africa is an international broadcasting radio station live transmitted from Johannesburg, South Africa. 1 October 1992, it began its broadcasting under the management of the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC). The production and broadcast of innovative, stimulating, and dynamic programs aim to support South Africa’s national interests. Its vision statement is “The Voice of the African Renaissance.” The station quality programs help to inform, educate, entertain, and empower African citizens. It presents Africa’s socio-economic, cultural, and political realities from an African perspective.

FM also promotes democracy, peace, culture, economic development, regeneration, revival, and rejuvenation. It encourages a country to be a tourist destination and makes it a viable and attractive destination for foreign investment. The station’s values are accuracy, fairness, innovation, impartiality, trustworthiness, and respect. It gives updates on the current political position and its realities, news, democracy, and continental and international affairs. The broadcasting is available 24 hours a day in the English language. To cater to the worldwide listenership, it offers live streaming on the internet.
