Rock 95 is a Canadian broadcasting radio station owned and managed by Central Ontario Broadcasting (Rock 95 Broadcasting (Barrie-Orillia) Ltd.) The FM commenced its operations on October 7, 1988. Its transmission airs from Barrie, Ontario. It broadcasts Mainstream rock format while its on-air brand name is Rock 95. Its call sign is “Classic Rock, New Rock, Get It All.” FM is broadcast on 95.7 MHz frequency on the FM band. 95.7, its transmission can listen as far south as Mississauga and north as Parry Sound. However, its transmission cannot hear in the southeast due to the adjacent station.
It is a class B channel with an adequate radiator power of 41 kW average and 100 kW peak. CFJB’s owners (Central Ontario Broadcasting) were granted permission to launch a sister station in Toronto on 88.1 MHz, CIND-FM, on May 7, 2012. IT Barrie produced the highest quality programs such as education, current affairs, local and international news, talk shows, business, sports, and best-hit music. 95.7 the Rock streams live on the internet 24 hours a day on its official website.

The station’s transmission reaches approximately a quarter-million listeners. Its coverage area footprints are Parry Sound and Huntsville, south to Highway 7 near Toronto, east to Lindsay, and west near Owen Sound. In addition, its signal serves all major cities in this region, such as Midland, Collingwood, Penetang, Barrie, Orillia, Newmarket, Bradford, Alliston, and many more.

Ozz was a famous morning show host on it. He hosted this show for 16 years. A few years ago, he decided to rest and move on to another job or a new direction. That’s why he announced I open the next chapter in my life and wish you all the best. This is NOT goodbye…but rather “catch you later.”
What happened to al brown rock 95
Longtime Rock 95-morning show host Al Brown was well known for his From the Cheap Seat segment, has died battling cancer and succumbed to the disease on Tuesday, October 5, due to complications. He died at 64 years old.
