KEDAH FM 97.5

RTM KEDAH FM is a broadcast radio which serves the state of Kedah, Penang, North Perak, Perlis, and southern Thailand. It utilized 97.5 MHz frequency to run its programs. It provides 24-hour programming a day in English, comprises local news, sports, and music of Malaysia. The station is rich in its programing like information, entertainment, political issues, and public awareness.

History of KEDAH FM 97.5:

A temporary station was known as radio Malaysia Alor Setar (RMAS) was established, which later on moved to sultan Abdul Halim’s information and broadcasting complex on Feb 8, 1992. That year all RTM radio transmitters have been upgraded to Radio Data System (RDS) for the reason of increasing the quality of latest and better broadcasts. In 2005 KEDHA introduced short message service (SMS) for broadcasting to all listeners who want to participate in the programs of KEDAH FM.
