Radio 786 100.4 FM is a radio station that is on community talk. It is broadcasted on the frequency of 100.4 Hz and is in the Greater Cape town area located in the Western Cape. However, to facilitate the fans, it is also accessible across the globe due to online streaming. It was founded in 1995 at a stadium in Rylands Estate in South Africa, while over 30000 followers and fans were present there.

The first program was on-air in September of 1995. It was on-air in the middle of the nineteenth century. The telecast’s main objective is to provide its people’s educational, informational, and cultural needs, for which it serves the whole zone of the Western Cape. The former radio station manager of this telecast, Aimen Ahmed, declared the frequency of 100.4 FM as a permanent home for Radio 786. Another station manager named Rushni Allie exposed that “now our listeners will have access to credible and truthful content every day on 100.4fm.”

This radio program is a Standing Committee of the Convention of Islamic Unity, having separate policies in editorial and financial fields. Recently, the radio station has launched a new Center of Broadcasting founded to cope with the digital world. This center integrates three different transmission regions that collaborate and fulfill the requirements of this radio station’s programming portfolio. It also established a new digital broadcasting center in 2016.
