History of CJVR FM 105.1
On December 7, 2001, the station received CRTC approval, and on March 1, 2002, it started airing on FM. CKJH, which initially aired in 2002, has a sister station in CJVR. FM first began broadcasting at 1420 AM on October 8, 1966. It moved to 750 AM in 1995, staying until switching to FM on March 1, 2002. The Jim Pattison Group bought Fabmar Communications on November 1, 2018. The transaction joined Jim Pattison Media Group’s Prince Albert radio station cluster, making CKJH and CJVR-FM sisters.
