988 FM is a Chinese radio station located in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. It founded in 1996, and the station owned and operated by Star Radio Groups. It on air its transmission 24 hours a day in the Chinese language by tuning 98.8 MHz frequency. The essential purpose of the station is to introduce new programs, new DJs lineups, news, music, and new image. The program format is news, Chinese hit music, adult contemporary music, and entertainment.
From 2008 to 2013 the motto of the station was “最好听” “Best to listen” and later on from 2013 to 2018 the tagline was “友声有色” Sound Of Colours” and finally from 2019, the motto of radio is “坚持。敢言。 坚持。好音乐” “adhere to. Dare to say. Adhere to. Nice music.”

The target audience of the station is Arubans and suburban listeners. It also targeted professionals, managers, and adults. In September 2015, according to the GFK listener-ship survey, the FM had weekly 1.7 million listener-ship.
