BIG 105 – CHUB FM is a Canadian radio broadcasting station, which is situated in Red Deer, Alberta. It uses the on-air brand name of BIG 105. It is based on a hot adult contemporary format. Historically stating, CHUB was the first time introduced with the call sign of CKRD in 1949. The former frequency reserved for this radio station was 1230 kHz (AM). There was a frequent change in the frequency reservation of BIG 105.5. As sooner, it was moved from 1230 kHz to 850 (AM). Then in 1985, the frequency was again changed to 700 (AM). At last, in 2000, this radio station’s call sign and frequency were changed into the current one.
