Capitale Rock Abitibi (CHGO FM) is a French-language radio station broadcasting at 104.3 FM in Val-d’Or, Quebec City, Canada. The station’s owner is Arsenal Media. FM transmits an active rock format branded as Capitale Rock. Capitale Rock Abitibi also shares much of its programming with CJGO-FM in La Sarre, although each station creates its unique morning show. The radio station was formerly known as CKVD 900, an AM station that operated as a part of the Abitibi AM network alongside CHAD Amos (now defunct) and CKRN Rouyn-Noranda (now CHOA-FM) from 1939 until it was switched to FM in 1999. Radio uses the on-air slogan “A new sound in Abitibi!”.
Another rebroadcaster for CHGO was:
Rouyn-Noranda, 95.7 CJGO FM.
La Sarre, 102.1 CJGO-FM. The CRTC authorized that repeater to switch to CJGO on August 6, 2010.
