Jewel 88.5 is a Canadian broadcasting radio station licensed to serve Newmarket, Ontario. The station broadcasts soft adult contemporary under the ownership of Evanov Communications. Its studios are on Dundas Street West in the Eatonville neighborhood of Etobicoke, Toronto. In contrast, the channel’s transmitter is near Aurora. It began its transmission as AM 1480 CKAN on February 28, 1980.

Furthermore, the channel transmits from 6 AM to midnight with a hybrid easy listening/beautiful music format. FM has an effective broadcasting power of 11,300 watts on average and 30,000 watts at peak. It broadcasts sports shows, information, businesses, interviews, stories, entertainment, news, and music.
